***Original*** Michael Knott Painting Original Owners <Autographed on the back> *to the CLB* Start Price USD 599.99 Current Price USD 599.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 999.99 Reserve Price - Start Time Friday, October 10, 2008 End Time Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Location Nashville, Tennessee See more about '***Original*** Michael Knott Painting' Description *** Original *** Michael Knott (Gerard) Painting Very Nice Original Acrylic Painting This is a very nice original painting that we obtained from Michael Knott personally when he did a solo concert for us at the 'famed' CLB club in Clinton,ms in the year 2002.  As he so often does, Michael played an absolutely incredible show, one of the better we had done along with bands like Cool Hand Luke, Denison Mars, and 238.  Michael is also well known for his bands like LSU and also was a part of the Cush record.  He of course has done several solo albums also. He is also becoming known among those in the know as an excellent artist. If you go to his website you will find a whole mess of his paintings.  The problem is, as you will note, most all of them are sold already.  There are only a handful left for sale at the moment.  By the way this one is in excellent shape.  It has been kept displayed in a climate controlled environment its whole life. During the concert that night, Michael surrounded the stage with his paintings of that era, and we purchased this particular one, because we thought it was the 'coolest' one of the bunch.  He autographed it on the back, as seen in the pics, as well as putting a pen drawing on the rear also.  The CLB has been closed a good long while, but I will still remember Michael's solo show as one of the better shows we ever had.  This painting graced the wall at the CLB and then later it was on the wall in the tracking room of our recording studio (Cool Waters).  We have just moved to Nashville and have been scaling down our studio a great deal. This is another item we are endeavering to pass along to someone else.  We will be listing some very cool lights that also graced the CLB also in a few days. So we offer this painting, hopefully, to a Michael Knott fan, who loves both his music and paintings.  We are not sure of its value.  At the time we purchased it, it was valued a good deal above the starting price of this auction.  We never had it framed, so thats the way it comes to you and then you could make the decision on what you think makes it look the coolest!  The painting is signed on the front by 'Gerard' the name which Michael most always uses on his paintings.
